 1st Photovoltaic NORTH MACEDONIA Conference

Background: In last decade solar have been most prospective renewable energy source and business choice all over the globe. Innovations and solar business developments keep up the top position.

According to the new framework North Macedonia is ready for more investments in PV backed by premiums.
The Government of North Macedonia has launched tendering for the construction of photovoltaic power plants with a combined capacity of 35 MW on state owned land and 27 MW on privately owned land. Already recorded 82 investors seeking to build solar power plants on state land.

The incentive measures will effect households allowing them to return 1-4 kW produced electricity to the grid and small/medium enterprises enabling them to return 20KW capacity to the GRID system.

Description and aim of the event: The aim of the event is to promote PV investment in North Macedonia and neighboring Western Balkans countries, introducing current framework, achievements, potentials and opportunities. Released under the patronage of Energy Agency of North Macedonia and Ministries responsible for RER development policies it is a part of the PV campaign.
Gathering international and regional experts and industry RENEXPO® will provide platform for best practice and knowledge exchange including advanced technical solutions and efficient equipment presentation.
